Keith reads from an article, and comments on it as he goes to the talking points. It’s a topic that pops up from time to time and although it’s wrapped in Christian sounding language, it can be a trap to fall into its entanglements. The topic relates to Christian Nationalism, and it should be understood that it’s an empty fiction that only exists in the mind of the accusers of it.

Keith points out fallacies in this CNN article from around January 2025. He points out the misleading labels and misleading scriptural language. The bottom line is that it’s a myth created in those who complain about it. Is there anything wrong with the term? There’s never been an organization called Christian nationalist in this country. Actually, in the era of the 1930s through the 1950s there was a political organization by this name, but it was one that entirely supported socialism. Thankfully it died out, never to be resurrected. To add weight to this bogeyman, those on the progressive, liberal left add the adjective “Quite” to it. It’s an attempt to bring an imaginary racism into their imaginary mix.

In my statements thus far, it should be sufficient to know everything there is about this bogeyman. However, Keith still works through the article paragraph by paragraph to challenge each of the fallacies the author tries to make.
Another thing to be aware of is that this article is a master class on projection, the art of blaming your opponent for everything that you are trying to do, or are actually doing.

As we continue moving through our nation’s 250th birthday, topics like this may be featured on our podcast.
