Introduce:

Prior to the session, hang pictures of several road signs
that provide warnings around the room.
(Examples: danger ahead, hazard, slippery when wet, detour,
and so forth)
As adults arrive, discuss reasons why these signs might be placed on a roadway.

Transition:

In today’s session,
we’re going to look at some warning signs that Jesus gave
to reveal what was going on in the hearts of the people at the temple.

to discuss Jesus’s approach to Jerusalem.
Point out that Jesus had spent a lot of time around the Sea of Galilee.
Note that this was His final trip into Jerusalem before His crucifixion.
