1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy:

in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Grace to you and peace.

EXAMINE:

DISCUSS:

GUIDE:

Direct attention to the words grace and peace in verse 1.
Point out that the phrasing of grace and peace was a common greeting of that day.

TRANSITION:
